How can we come together in shared human presence in an ever-complexing world?

This is one of the crucial questions of our time. The overabundance of information, polarizing perspectives and the acceleration of change show the limitations of bureaucratic decision-making and individual expert knowledge. Openness and alertness to Interbeing, the field of aliveness that always connects us, and an emergent dialogue offer us new key skills for the 21st.century.

Emergent Dialogue is a cultural practice for a new, trans-individual culture. Our one-sided “I”-focused civilization today threatens our entire biosphere. We need new forms of collective intelligence in which our interconnectedness with all life on earth can be directly experienced. Emergent Interbeing and dialogues which grow from there are one way of practicing this new, integral we-culture.
Thomas Steininger

In the space of ever-present connectedness that we call Emergent Interbeing, we can experience that we as human beings are not separate from each other, from the living world, and from the cosmos.

When we bring our uniqueness into this shared presence, unprecedented forms of shared knowing, sensing, thinking, caring, and creating emerge - a holistic force for our common human project on Earth.

Emergent Dialogue is a practical application of Emergent Interbeing. By cultivating the ever-present interconnectedness of all living beings and awareness of the interpersonal process, this new approach to dialogue allows us to work with a synergistic intelligence in which conflict potentials are transformed into creative tension that opens spaces for a co-creative future.

The emergence of human possibilities that occurs between us in the open center can transform us and inspire a conscious, regenerative culture of togetherness.

All who are interested in new forms of dialogue are invited, regardless of their own experience with different forms . Together we will immerse ourselves in a practice of living wholeness and experience how our own relationship to life within and between us can be transformed.

The perpetual presence of Emergent Interbeing: We become aware of the presence of an Emergent Interbeing field and the deep interconnectedness of all living things, developing a sense of the difference between individual, interpersonal and intersubjective consciousness.

The quality of 'not-knowing': In Interbeing we experience how 'not-knowing' leads to a deep liveliness and co-creativity between us as human beings and awakens a collective intelligence.

The experience of emergence and synergy: Emergence and synergy arise from the three dimensions of Emergent Dialogue: individual participation, the perpetual presence of being and co-creative aliveness.

The practice of living wholeness: In dialogue, different perspectives can come together co-creatively and synergistically in a wonderful way. The awareness of Emergent Interbeing supports the development of spiritual resilience and the practice of living wholeness, which transforms our own inner center of gravity towards transindividualisation.

After an introductory impulse from the hosts, we will experience, explore and deepen the qualities and attitudes of co-creative dialogue together. We will bring our attention to a space of Interbeing, a sense of deep togetherness, which reaches beyond the physical separation of our computer screens. Over the four mornings, we will deepen and explore different aspects and qualities of the Emergent Interbeing field and the Emergent Dialogue that unfolds as a result. With the support of the hosts, the course develops through and in the presence of all participants.

During the four mornings, you will receive new impulses for various personal, professional or community contexts and experience how Interbeing awareness of each other and to the world can be a key to a whole and creative life.

The course fee is 85€ (participant), which is the baseline for covering our costs. If it is possible for you, we would be happy to receive a contribution of 120€ (supporter). This will support other participants and enable us to continue offering these events.

Marlene Potthoff

Marlene Potthoff studied biology and political science and has been working in the environmental movement for over 20 years. In addition to her commitment to climate protection and the development of environmental awareness, it has always been important for her to recognize and gain a deeper understanding of the spiritual impulse within herself. Through her intensive engagement with these two interests – the need for social commitment and the perception of the importance of the spiritual dimension – she discovered the significance of the evolutionary development of consciousness in us humans. She sees emergent dialogue as an ideal combination of these two impulses for the development of a new human culture. She runs the Emergent Interbeing programs and the emergent dialogue offerings on a voluntary basis.
