In this 10-day intensive training you will dive deeply into the central practice of Interbeing: Emergent Dialogue
Developed both for those familiar with Emergent Dialogue and for experienced facilitators, the training gives you the in-depth Interbeing practice, feedback and understanding to be able to work with the mystery of emergence in groups, opening up the field of Interbeing and cultivating the capacity to co-create with its intelligence.

As a Catalyst of Emergent Dialogue, you can open a subtle field of coherence between group participants and work with these capacities to create spaces for transformation that are psycho-active. This means that there is an X-factor involved, a mystery living within and between us, that opens up new potentials for transformation and emergence. We refer to this mystery field as Interbeing. As a Catalyst, you are an instrument of this inexpressible mystery. Aligning with the depth and flow that comes alive in the group, you help the richness and diversity within the group become powerfully synergistic.
The ten days of this Training Intensive will focus most on the development of the trust, sensitivity, and freedom that are foundational for a Catalyst. To have the capacity tap into the intelligence of the field takes a deep knowing—at a cellular, embodied level—that the living field is truly a dimension of perceptible reality. That it is not an idea or an experience that you have now and again. It is real.
During these ten days, we will focus on deepening our capacity to sense the collective presence of the field and the creative impulse arising from it—as Catalysts. When does the field come alive? What causes it to flatten and lose its magic? How do we care for the living space between us? What does that mean?
We will also explore the creative impulse and synergy. How do we distinguish between our own impulses and the impulse coming from the field intelligence? Can we experiment with responding before thought, to catch the wind of emergence?
The content and process of the Intensive will depend on the experience of the participants. The deeper intelligence of our interbeing will guide us.

Elizabeth Debold, Ed.D. is a developmental psychologist, writer, activist, researcher, and co-developer of emergent Interbeing practice. For the past decade, she has been an editor of evolve Magazin, a German-language quarterly, where she writes feature articles on gender. For over thirty years, she has been engaged in discovering and exploring the potentials of collective emergence. With her partner, Dr. Thomas Steininger, she has developed a dialogical process of “Emergent Interbeing,” that enables us to co-consciously engage with differences to create unexpected synergies. Through the platform of evolve World, she, Thomas, and their team of practitioners seek, in some small but meaningful way, to catalyze islands of coherence in a fragmented world. Through events such as the 24-hour online vigil One World Bearing Witness, she is helping to bring sacred activism into the global digital age.

Marlene Potthoff studied biology and political science and has been working in the environmental movement for over 20 years. In addition to her commitment to climate protection and the development of environmental awareness, it has always been important for her to recognize and gain a deeper understanding of the spiritual impulse within herself. Through her intensive engagement with these two interests – the need for social commitment and the perception of the importance of the spiritual dimension – she discovered the significance of the evolutionary development of consciousness in us humans. She sees emergent dialogue as an ideal combination of these two impulses for the development of a new human culture. She runs the Emergent Interbeing programs and the emergent dialogue offerings on a voluntary basis.

As a cultural anthropologist, Dr. Nadja Rosmann has been working for many years on how cultural identity unfolds and how new forms of life emerge in the course of this development, which promote a more connected togetherness and co-creativity. Since 2010, she has organized the biennial Meditation & Science congress in Berlin, which sheds light on the perspectives of a new culture of consciousness. As a member of the editorial team of evolve magazine, she and her colleagues have built up a network of almost 30 evolve salons in German-speaking countries, in which participants can delve deeper into the magazine's topics on the basis of emergent dialogue. In her experience, emergent dialogue is a life practice that opens up a broader horizon of meaning and allows people to be together in a shared sense of the essential.
Mike Kauschke is an author, poet, editor, photographer, translator and dialogue facilitator. He is managing editor of evolve magazine. He practiced Zen Buddhism with teachers in the USA and Europe, explored an integral spirituality and worked in palliative care and hospice work. He has translated books from the fields of integral philosophy, mindfulness, Buddhism and organizational development into German (Steve McIntosh, Jon Kabat-Zinn, Rick Hanson, Frederic Laloux, Brian Robertson, Amy Edmondson etc.). For many years he has been practicing and facilitating dialogue work in evolve World. In 2022 his first book was published, „In Search of Lost World: A Journey to the poetic dimension of our lives”, and in 2024 he published “In Conversation with the Living World: Poetic impulses for a creative and meaningful existence”.

Maria Zacherl has been leading our annual international meditation marathon for many years. Her great passion is meditation and emergent dialogues, which she regularly practices as a dialogue facilitator. In both, meditation and dialogue, she experiences the potential for concrete change. For her, the development of humanity is the top priority, as a direct result of the transformative power of meditation and the experience of non-separation in dialogue. In her everyday life, this is also particularly noticeable in her work as a naturopath. In this deeper and transformed togetherness, a completely new basis for treatment emerges, and thus for her, spiritual practice never stops outside of meditation and dialogue times.
